Admission

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MOCK TEST

 

1. Candidates shall login by using the User ID and Password.

2. Marks obtained will be displayed on website after the test.

3. Total duration of the examination is 120 minutes.

4. Only 1 question will be displayed on the Test window at a time.

5. Do not leave the seat before the completion of the exam

6. The computer based exam will be bilingual language Hindi & English

7. All the multiple-choice questions(MCQs) include 4 potions with one correct option.

8. The question paper consists of a total of 200 questions.

9. Marks awarded for every correct answer is 1 mark

10. Negative marks awarded for every incorrect answer is 0 mark

11. No marks will be given for unattempted questions.

12. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available for you to complete the Test. When the timer reaches zero, the Test will end by itself. Please click on the submit button before the time out.

13. SUBMIT Button will only appear after 60 Minutes of starting the test. It will appear on the bottom right side Exam panel when you go to the last 120th Question.

14. The Question Palette displayed on the left bottom side of screen will show the status of each question using Coloured Symbols.

15. For navigating to another Question Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly.

16. Supported browsers are Google Chrome o Fire Fox or Internet Explorer.

17. For Answering a Question, click on the radio button of one of the options

18. To unselect your chosen answer, click on the radio button of the chosen option again

19. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option

20. Please ensure that Popup blocker is turned off

21. It is advised to clear the Browser Cache before start of the test

22. Preferred Screen resolution is 1024x768 and above

23. An Internet connection with a minimum speed of 500 Kbps is required

24. It is advised that please do not give the Mock Test on your Mobile Phones or Tab

26. Answering a Question:

(A) Choose one option based on your opinion.

(B) Answer multiple-choice questions by selecting a single answer from four provided options.

(C) Enter your two-digit answer in the provided textbox or use the keypad to type your answer.

 

27. Timer and Submission

(A) The exam timer is set by the server.

(B) A countdown timer on your screen will display the remaining time.

(C) The exam will end by itself when the timer reaches zero. You do not need to manually end or submit your exam

 

28. Submitting the Exam

(A) Your exam will automatically finish when the timer reaches zero.

(B) If you wish to submit your exam before the timer ends, click on Submit.

 

29. Navigating to a Question

(A) Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly.

Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to the current question.

(B) Click on Save and Next: Save and Move to the next question.

(C) Click on Next: Go to the next question.

(D) Click on Back: Go back to the previous question.

(E) Click on Clear Response: Clear your current answer.

 

30. Exam Procedure

(A) The sections of the exam are shown on the top bar of the screen.

(B) You can view questions in a section by clicking on its name, and the current section will be highlighted.

(C) After clicking Save & Next on the last question of a section, you will automatically go to the first question of the next section.

(D) You can switch between sections and questions at any time during the exam as long as it’s within the allowed time.

(E) The Question Palette displayed on the right side of the screen will show the status of each question using one of the following symbols:

Yellow colour indicates that you have answered the question.

Red colour indicates that you have visited the question but not answered the question.

Blue colour indicates that you have not visited or not attempted the question.
